Good pour, head leaves quickly. Nose is hay. Bitter. Middle is mild malt, little apple. Finish shows decent herbal bitterness, but malt finishes a bit meh. OK.

500ml can. Pale grassiness in nose. thin malt. Body is lighter malts, a skoash of hop and some light stone fruit. Grassy finish. Not much overall, but I was not expecting much as the six pack was priced right at the Pburg booze and beer rip and run.

500ml can. The latest cheap stale import pils. It is papery, industrial type pils underneath, some spice notes

Pours a clear medium yellow with a thick whit head that becomes a thin ring leaving minimal lacing. Nose is malt. Body is medium--thin. Taste is malt with slight bitter aftertaste. Overzall, a thin example of a German pils. $5/6 pack half liter cans. Canned: 3/15/16

From the 1 pint can dated 15-03-2016 with an expiration date of 15-09-2017. It pours golden-yellow underneath a quick lasting white foamy head. Then it is gone entirely. The aroma is made up of German toasted malts and bread and wet green grass. But I also pick up a hint of metallic. The body is medium. Same toasted bread, German yeast and biscuit sweetness in the taste but also a kind of cooked vegetable after finish. Still crisp at the end.

Pours gold into a stein. Bright white head with good retenion recedes to nothing. Cracked malt aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and hay front to back.

Clear yellow, white foam head. Barley aroma and typical pilsener taste. Nothing wrong with this. (Velp 201512)

Bamsen78 (5273) - Snderborg, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2015
Bottle. Pours clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with subtle notes of hops and malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of yeast and malty touches. Hints of paper, especially in the estery (and rather metallic) aftertaste. Drinkable and clean but rather watery and nothing really impressive for the style.

Koelschtrinker (19394) - Kln (Cologne), GERMANY - SEP 17, 2015
Herber, moderat hopfiger Beginn. Die eher trockene Herbe passt in diesem Fall recht gut, die Hopfigkeit steigt leicht und bleibt auf enttuschendem deutschen Pils Durchschnitt. Spritzig, zum Ende aber zu trocken. Ok. 8/8/8/8/9/8
