Golden and misty. Mandarin and delicate cake malts. Smooth, low carbonation. Nice juicy bitterness, more than the modern but moderate aroma. Nice brew. (Cask at The Maypole)

The_Osprey (9126) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 29, 2016
Cask HP at The Edgar Wallace, London. As Colchester Edgar Wallace, 3.7%. Perhaps a rebadge, but maybe not. Pale orange, clear, still, small foamy beige head. Aroma is light and airy, some apple, elderflower. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is light but has perfect balance between malt and hops. Very delicate. A touch of poor condition would send this off a cliff, I think. But very tasty here. A bit special actually. Crackers, socks, light gooseberry, watery toffee sugars, lime water, smokey astringency. This one took me by surprise. Delicate yet complex.

imdownthepub (15330) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 25, 2016
Cask conditioned at The Royal Blenheim, Oxford. Yellow gold with white head. Thin, light, fruity beer with a perfumed note. Some boiled vegetable hints. Just a little dull.

ManVsBeer (10946) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2015
Navigation Tavern Beer Festival. Yellow-blonde with a small creamy head. Hoppy, malty and a sugary-sweetness.

FatPhil (17077) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 6, 2015
Cask (Maypole, Cambridge)
Smells of white bread. Phil gets mushrooms, Anna doesn’t. Yellow. Flat. There’s a horlicks-ey maltiness, but it’s yeasty too. Nah, this is sour, seriously past its prime.
