Beesbeer (450) - WALES - AUG 5, 2012
A nice rich thick and comforting pint. That sort of ruby warmth from something malty, but a great building bitterness through the pint. I had it with a bowl of strawberries which were the perfect accompaniment. I think this is what they call a session beer, i.e. good balance between malt and hops and easy to drink a number of pints of without getting too schloozled. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2012

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Settles a hazy copper-brown with a thick smooth head. Has a smooth drinking texture too with a light berry-sweet aroma and taste with a light bitterness too. berkshirejohn (6687) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2015
Cask at the Bell, Watlham St Lawrence. Reddish chestnut with a loose cream head; fruity aroma; sweet caramel taste with a touch of spice; and an earthy finish. A pleasant, malty autumnal bitter. jjsint (3518) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 2, 2016
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2017 Cask at the Drayman’s Son. Ruby red with little discernible carbonation. Malty smell, some oak, forest floor. Malt also dominates the taste, but there is a strong bitter edge to the finish. Not all that bad.
