3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not bad for a $3.99 can that filled my pint glass twice. Not going to compete with anything on the favorites list, but it tastes good and is a perfect sized can of beer for timing chicken on the bbq. One glass down, flip the birds, next glass down, flip the birds, contemplate the next beer. Eat chicken, drink next beer. That’s almost like simple math. Hoppy enough so you know it’s an IPA, and carries a nice 6.5 abv. Other than that, nothing sticks out. Other than the fact that it’s in a giant can. And I like that approach.
UPDATED: JUN 30, 2013 Dark Hazy Orange color with a yellow tinge on the bottom; Head pours around 1 finger and has decent lacing retention. Dry floral hops, yeasts, and malts in the nose. Flavor is dry piney hops, yeasts, orange, malts and barley. Aftertaste is a bitter dry hop finish. Body is moderate and weight and the carbonation is quite mild, does feel kind of crisp. Not too much in terms of flavor, but it’s pretty cheap as far as the amount of beer you’re getting and pricing. djroehler (290) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Deep golden pour, foamy white head. Aroma is orange, cereal malt, light resin. Taste is light orange, moderate, bitter pine, slightly light body and carbonation. For the price, I would drink again. Fatehunter (2582) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - MAR 18, 2013
Poured into a mass. Two and half fingers of head on a hazy, medium straw colored body.
The aroma is orange juice and hay.
The taste is mild bitterness, orange sweetness and finishes with a dry bitterness.
The texture is soft with moderate carbonation.
A bit tame on the hops for an IPA but quite drinkable and the huge can is attractive. crossovert (13405) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Giant can. The water character is indeed good, but the beer isn’t. Sweet, not hopped enough. Cold fusion filled. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Big ass can. Pours a clear gold with no head. Aroma and flavor are weak citrus hops. Nothing special.

Massive double pint can. I had to try this IPA becuase my cousins are from Cold Spring. Pours a golden orange, with off white head. Citris aroma, tastes somewhat flat, very little hops. It’s not a completely terrible IPA, but nothing stands out about it. Good value for what you get I guess, but sorry Cuz, I wont be buying this again. luttonm (6547) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 18, 2012
Monster can in Seattle. Cold orange pour. Nice aroma hops but body is a bit weirdly juicy, some bittering fruit finish. Odd caramel malts, not a great ipa. mjg74 (3133) - La Mesa, California, USA - NOV 3, 2012
Can from Casa De Oro. Dry pungent nose. Decent hop character. A little bit of an off flavor, but overall not terrible. blipp (9501) - La Mesa, California, USA - OCT 26, 2012
Can I brought to Dadtoberfest.... Sorry guys. Golden orange with an off white head. Sweet malts, light herbal hops, lighter fruity notes, and a relatively clean finish. Not awful. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - OCT 18, 2012
Quart can. Even in college, I never had a beer out of a can anything like this. I gotta hit middle age and move to the burbs to drink like a punk kid. Quart can. Pours a cloudy medium amber with a fluffy, rocky white head and lots of eggy lace. Laundry and iced tea on the nose. Creamy medium body with chalky carb. Iced tea, caramel, and nitrogen on the mid palate. Socks-ish finish. Not real appealing. But the can is crazy.
