COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As the third addition to our IPA project series, our brewers followed up with tracking down some super fresh Crystal & Citra hops! Adding the hops in the whirlpool and not the boil lets the hops do the talking. Crystal adds a beautiful earthy & woody backbone while Citra shines through balancing with notes of stone fruit, grapefruit and lime!

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co. dispensed to a shaker showing a cloudy orange color, with a fluffy layer of soft white froth, and wavy lacing that settled into a lingering coating of sheeting foam. The nose was lightly floral, resinous, and tropical, with soft malt to mellow, and more expressive notes of citrusy lemon & grapefruit. The taste was similar, medium bodied, with good carbonation, a touch of sweetness, tartness & tanginess, and lingering citrus & rind-like bitterness. Not overly bold, but a pleasant balance of notes.

Pretty cloudy beige blond beer, big fluffy creamy yellowish head, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of citrus, fruity, little malty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: little sweet, malty, very fruity, some grapefruit, more tropical fruits, nice! Aftertaste: citrus, some sweet malts, bit of alcohol, grapefruit, some caramel.

Really like this one - lacks the tropical fruits but has a ton of citrus fruits; lime, grapefruit, lemon peel. Beautiful hop profile, long finish, bitterness is beautiful. Pour is a dark gold with an orange hue. Light fluffy off white head. Yum.

[9432-20170713] 473mL can. Orange grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Bitter orange butter and grapefruit peel hops flavour. Medium-full body is quite bitter. Delicious. (8/4/10/5/16) 4.3

473ml can, Hazed gold pour with lots of floaty sediment. Aroma is orange juice, vanilla, flowers. Flavor is minty and nougaty, citrus juice, heavy malt bill, not much bitterness, not a fan of this style of ipa.

Pours a bright, cloudy, yellowish golden with a medium white head that lingers for a long time. A big aroma finds strong grapefruit and pineapple, along with melon, floral hops, orange, and mango. Dry and moderately bitter, this one has an easy sweetness. Lots of grapefruit, mango, and heavily floral, there are supporting elements of pine, banana, peach, and resin. Mild aftertaste is grapefruit and banana. Its lighter in body and is slick in texture. I found this to be quite refreshing and very easy to drink. Good stuff here.

Can from Hogtownharry. Thanks my friend Drynk on a train. Turbid amber colour lasting white head. Big fresh citra aroma. Plenty of dry hopping without being dank. Juicy mouthfeel like drinking fruit juice. Low carb9nation low bitterness like NE ipa but without the dankness. I thought a lovely ipa. Kernal standard and there is no higher praise from me.
