Rhyme & Reason, Extra Pale Ale American style pale ale. The flavour and aroma of Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops prevail without excessive bitterness for maximum drinkability. Malt sweetness of Pale Ale, Crystal Carafoam and Wheat Flakes in the background complements the hops for a crisp finish. 5.7 ABV 55 IBUs (Bottles and Draft)

33 cl. bottle @ Home. Aroma: not very intense aromas of tropical fruits, passion fruit, grapefruit, resin, pine. Hints of toasted malts and caramel. Appearance: golden to light amber color with slightly off-white and quite creamy head. Foam made of small and medium bubbles. High head thickness. Low to medium Brussels’ lacing. High retention. Medium hazyness. Taste: low sweetness, medium to high bitterness, no sourness. Flavors of grapefruit, resin, pine, toasted malts, biscuit. Balance is a bit towards the hop bitterness, but is not too much unbalanced. Subtle hints of burnt caramel. Palate: medium body, watery to oily texture, medium carbonation, long dry finish of grapefruit, resin, pine, toasted malts, hints of roasted malts, biscuit. Quite bitter finish. Overall: very good appareance, Subtle but pleasant aromas. Good, pleasant and refreshing flavors. Quite drinkable and very refreshing and thirst quenching. Good. Well brewed, but i think the resin and grapefruit touches are a bit overwhelming.
