Rhyme & Reason, Extra Pale Ale American style pale ale. The flavour and aroma of Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops prevail without excessive bitterness for maximum drinkability. Malt sweetness of Pale Ale, Crystal Carafoam and Wheat Flakes in the background complements the hops for a crisp finish. 5.7 ABV 55 IBUs (Bottles and Draft)

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2013 355ml bottle. Pours a crystal clear golden yellow with a fluffy, one finger, off-white head. Mild lacing. Aroma is pleasant. Notes of grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine, resin, and bread with an earthyness. Taste is bitter with a a drawn out resiny/pine/grapefruit aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly resiny in the mouth but still moderately clean and crisp. Overall I’m really liking this. Solid aroma and taste and very drinkable. Lots of flavour for 5.7%. Would probably buy again.

33 cl. bottle @ Home. Aroma: not very intense aromas of tropical fruits, passion fruit, grapefruit, resin, pine. Hints of toasted malts and caramel. Appearance: golden to light amber color with slightly off-white and quite creamy head. Foam made of small and medium bubbles. High head thickness. Low to medium Brussels’ lacing. High retention. Medium hazyness. Taste: low sweetness, medium to high bitterness, no sourness. Flavors of grapefruit, resin, pine, toasted malts, biscuit. Balance is a bit towards the hop bitterness, but is not too much unbalanced. Subtle hints of burnt caramel. Palate: medium body, watery to oily texture, medium carbonation, long dry finish of grapefruit, resin, pine, toasted malts, hints of roasted malts, biscuit. Quite bitter finish. Overall: very good appareance, Subtle but pleasant aromas. Good, pleasant and refreshing flavors. Quite drinkable and very refreshing and thirst quenching. Good. Well brewed, but i think the resin and grapefruit touches are a bit overwhelming.

Gran pale ale, es un nivel superior dentro de su estilo, gran sabor, muy equilibrada de su amargor, se reconoce toques de melocotón que acompañan a los lupulos.

Can from a Lazy Dog Slightly hazy deep golden color with a huge frothy off white head that persists. Lemony earthy grassy on the nose and more grass and earth than anything in the flavor. Somewhat sharp bitterness. Not bad.

Aroma is floral and citrus. Taste is moderately sweet with a decent bitter finish with notes of citrus grains and pine. It’s a pretty flavourful beer without being overly bitter or sweet.

473ml can, canned 15/06/2016.
