Bottle at home in London, shared with Lyoli after a long day of cleaning, cycling, Kernel and London Fields. Pours cloudy amber with a fine, filmy white head. Nose holds lots of doughy toast. Medium sweet flavor, some toasty cereal, toasty sugar, some toasty dough. Yep. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Mild sweet finish, more of the same toasted malts, toasted dough and cereal, very mild toasted hay bitterness. It’s a fine dark lager. Quite refreshing overall, with very few faults - if any. I like this. SudsMcDuff (8469) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 27, 2010

Bottle. Slightly cloudy bronze appearance. Strange aroma upon
opening.. Poured with a small head and was pretty flat. Nice modern label which was more interesting than the beer.

500ml. Muddy particulated red with a dense slender lid. Good German-accented heady unfiltered lager aroma confusing shrub, sesame, thistle sap and banana. That flavour alive with the perfume of a Munchen summer evening beneath the chestnut boughs. Better than their other beers.
