bottle, Rehills, Ncl. Bready sweet aroma, with toasted sweet malt flavours. Has a fine fruity palate, with the faintest chalky hints and more pleasant bread notes in the finish. Mid brown amber colour, this is an easy drinking, tasty brew. DanielBrown (4513) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 14, 2013
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Amber. Nice head. Nice bottle design too. Simple, bold, eleganted. A bit like Damian Lewis, the ginger actor or ’jacktor’; I love wordplay. Pleasant slooshy beer. Flavour of wholemeal toast scratched with honey - Oliver Reed/Castaway reference there, for the eagle-eyed amongst you (no one). X. FatPhil (16345) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 25, 2011

Slightly farty eggy aroma. Deep hazy amber. Bread in the aromas too, and grainy. Taste is also grainy - sweet barley. A touch husky. Finish is a touch husky too, but with a pleasant biting bitternesss laster. Fresh hops in that, in fact, and certainly an approvement on the inauspicious start.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A hazy dark amber beer with rich malty, vanilla, toffee and earthy notes with a creamy red fruity finish. harrisoni (18801) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2013
Bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras, clear mid brown beer with no head. Actually this does taste quite German. Mostly the malt. It’s fine, malts are pretty tasty. No real hop, the bite on the end is more from the carbonation. Drunk watching the Dortmund vs Bayern Champions league final. It’s slightly better than average. joergen (28377) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 4, 2013
