Flavours are sweet cereal with wheat and bready yeast. Peppery with grapefruit bitterness and clean whote grape skin. Herbal with some leafiness. Dry and pithy on the palate. Pretty good.
Bottle at BeerDock Leek. Pours a hazy amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of toasted malts, wet bread, some orange, a hint of wood and subtle herbal hops. Taste of toasted malts, grains, some bready malts, slight wood, a little wood and subtle herbal hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, malty, slightly woody, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. A very basic IPA, typical German hop bitterness but mainly malts and subtle wood. Worth the money though. Amber color, small white head. Aroma is a bit harsh and bready, light fruityness or honey. Medium-bodied. Fruity flavour, but quite dry even herbal and a bit bready. More malty than hoppy. Flavour beats aroma.
The aroma is full of malts, caramel, dried apricots, honey, prunes and dates. The color is hazy and copperlike. The taste is full of malts, caramel and dried fruits. Not impressive but I should have tasted while it was fresh because it is very malt forward. I brought it with me when I was in South Africa in April but it’s a German beer and I live a couple of hundred kilometers away from the Danish/German-border so it’s pretty funny I brought this beer with from the other side of the Earth. Bottle. Pours amber, soft white head. IPA? Not really. More a lager/wheat beer/amber ale mashup. Lots of malt, hint of banana on the nose. More of that on the taste. Not much bitterness or hops. Nice, not IPA!

Bottle from Maxwell's. Smells a bit like a German pilsner, with a bit of malt. Big soapy head that dies quickly. Light amber colour. Little bit of hoppy resin and bitterness. Perfectly pleasant but a bit boring.

Bottle at Ministarstvo, Nis.
If this is really meant to be intro to wonderful world of IPAs then okay. It’s something in between IPA and lager, dog-cat as we would call it back in Slovakia. Off you go.. remALUS (420) - Kaunas, LITHUANIA - NOV 11, 2016
