330ml can from Waitrose, Rickmansworth. Really a very nice hefeweizen. Lots of good, zesty, bready esters, soft fruit flavours and smooth palate.

500ml bottle. Cloudy murky orange brown colour with a small white head. Aroma: wheat, vanilla, lemon, cloves. Taste: wheat, vanilla, cloves/spices, citrus, sweet, low bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Quite drinkable but not a great hefeweizen.

Bottle at home. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is great: fresh-baked bread, clove and bubblegum with a floral hint and tropical fruit. The taste is sweet to start with a little balancing bitterness. The aromas continue on to the palate with a herbal edge and a caramel sweetness developing. Rich mouthfeel with a dry finish. Nice.

Blueshawk (465) - Bad Bellingen, GERMANY - AUG 24, 2016

Gehbe (432) - Vilnius, LITHUANIA - AUG 11, 2016
Hazy gold with a weak white head. Aroma of corriander, zest, wheat, grapefruit, pine, nuts. Light to medium sweetness and sourness, a little bitterness on finish. Smooth milky texture, high carbonation, a little sticky on finish. Sort of in between a witbier and a hefeweizen, not bad.
