Bottle. Amber, light haze. Sweetish malts on nose. Some alc. Dried fruits, some raisins, old malts. Body is med, slick. A bit of port, dades.KansaiBeerLvrs (5255) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JAN 1, 2013
A random find at Inoue’s near Kyoto station(980 yen) which was odd as they specialize in Belgian beer. They seem to be imported to Japan by wine importers which is why I never seem them at beer stores I guess. A beautiful looking bottle makes it great to bring somewhere for dinner - classy. It gushed when opened and seemed fairly carbonated. A nice amber ale with a great color & a light white head of foam that quickly dissipated. It had a malty flavor with some bitter/smokiness. Quite smooth. Kosmokrator (849) - ITALY - NOV 25, 2012
16.9oz bottle. Unfiltered amber-brown. Thin, steady off white head. Not really so far off from a good French Biere de Garde, a little chalky in it’s mouthfeel though. Mellow chestnut amber brown malt tones. Quite easy drinking for the ABV. Mild candied orange, pineapple fruit tones in the finish. Really grew on me..tasty delicate brown chocolate tones come out. 750 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits (Halifax). Pours a cloudy amber colour with decent-sized, lasting off-white head and lots of floaties. Aroma is caramel, spice and some fruitiness. Flavour is sweet caramel, pear and other fruit, and spice. Slightly above medium body. Something a little different - adds up to something good but not great.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2012 BottlFiat Copenhagen. Amber haze two finger. Spicy slight caramalty aromas. Fine balanced sweet dry taste. Medium firm body. Some fruite. Splendid brew for Italian food. mkel07 (6212) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - SEP 8, 2012
750ml bottle. Heavy in the glass which shows the beer has some body to it. Murky hazy deep brown in colour with an oil slick of foam. There is fruit present in the aroma with a hint of something sweet. Lively n the mouth with a bit of zing but not too much. msalm (59) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 30, 2012
Aroma is v. light. Easy fruit notes, but nothing punctuating. Red-amber color with lots of suspended sediment. Sweet, caramel notes in the body--this is the strongest aspect of this beer. Relatively smooth body and only a trace of bitterness on the way out. Okay--but not very interesting. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 10, 2012
The aroma is sweet and yeasty with caramel malt, alcohol, and grassy hops. The appearance is hazy amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall another winner from Collesi. GregosBeerKing (31) - NORWAY - JUL 29, 2012
Halfbottle bought in shop San Gimignano
nice deep amber red colour. But dissapointing. sweatly fruit taste, smell of sweat wort, like many Italian ambratas. OK but only beacuse I have tasted so many horrible samples last forthnight in Italy.
