Black beer, not pasteurized, top fermented. The natural refermentation in the bottle creates a soft and velvety head, cappuccino colored. Full flavored beer, with full body, its aroma reminds the toasting of barley coffee, cocoa, liquorice and rhubarb. Soft and creamy mouthfeel, with a round and structured aromatic feeling. We recommend to consume at 12° - 14° C. Ingredients: Monte Nerone water, barley malt, sugar, hop and... a lot of passion!

This is not good. A sweet toasty aroma that doesn’t work. Flavor of soured bittersweet chocolate. Bad.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Dark brown-black with a sweet plum, currant and dried fruit flavour followed by a smooth chocolate and red fruity, spicy, warming finish. Pretty good.

Bottle. Poured a deep amber color with an averaged sized head. Fruity (some tart fruits), chocolate, roast, and berries. Grew on me as I drank it.

Tart and slight choc aroma come from this brown brew with a cream brown head. Choc flavors with a touch of vanilla and the warming alcohol. Medium body. High carb. Foamed out of bottle for awhile before I could drink it.

Dark brown body with a beige head.
Rich dried fruit and malt aroma and flavour. Sweet taste with medium bitterness. Slightly boozy. Dry, alcoholic finish.
Medium body with soft carbonation.

Very tasty stout. It has some of the dried fruit flavour of a quadrupel. The alcohol is a bit too prominent, though.

Bottle shared by Cuso. Rather neutral aroma. Dark colour, lightly hazy. Short lasting head. Taste initially roasty, then turns to weizeny flavours of clove and banana. Good but definitely not milk stout by style.

Bottle. Very dark brown color with medium beige head. Sweet dark malt, light coffee in aroma. Taste, dark malt, banana, light coffee, vanilla. OK.

New Beer Distributors, nYC bottle: pours dark brown with a short lasting tan head. Aroma is molasses and lots of it. Taste is just sugary and simple sweet stout. Meh.

Bottle as "Nera", 8%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is light roasted malt, chocolate, bread, dark fruit, hop and a little liqourice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, bread, liqourice, hop, medium sweet, little dark fruit and a little bitter.

StoutHead (965) - DENMARK - DEC 14, 2015
Bottle. Pours a murky brown colour with absolutely no head. I’m not sure if I got a load of yeast in my glass or if it’s this colour naturally...but it looks disgusting and wrong. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Taste is of malt, coffee, hops, fruits and LOTS of chocolate. Full body and high carbonation. Bitter finish. Well, it looks terrible but luckily it tastes better than it looks. It’s not too bad actually...perhaps it just looks that way. Just like Jessica Rabbit. But unlike this - with Jessica Rabbit I would go back for seconds. :-)
