Cask, The Pub, Leicester. Golden amber with a thin head. Aromas are biscuit and lemon with nutty black tea. Woody with floral aspects and spices. Flavours are bittersweet lemon with lightly pithy grapefruit and base biscuit. Herbal and leafy with a mineral notes and a fruity, bitter finish. Light malty aroma. Slightly stodgy and boring bitter. Deceptively dark. Typical "3.meh" bitter.
Cask conditioned handpump White Swan Leeds 24/07/12. A copper coloured beer with a tight white head. A nicely balanced session bitter. Nice light fruits coming through. Plain and simple but tasty enough. Sadly served a little too cold.
