Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Golden coloured beer, large head. Pleasant hoppy and yeasty aroma, slightly oaky, nearly a vinous character. The flavour has the same characteristics as the aroma, but is less vinous. omhper (25943) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 31, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2007 Bottled at RBESG ’07. Deep golden, very lively. Lemony and buttery. Quite dry and refreshing with good malt structure and short salty finish. RoyceH (1200) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - AUG 30, 2007
Bottle, RBESG Grand Tasting 07. From the never ending eruption that was the bottle of this. Hazy blonde, thin white head. Nose is hazy and warm maltiness. Some warm, bad water infection nose. Mouth is watery malt, some dry rot, not much aftertaste, think this could have gone bad? rlgk (18843) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 30, 2007
(RBESG 2007, Glasgow. Bottle) Somewhat hazy golden color. Yeasty, fruity and hoppy aroma. Hoppy flavor with floral and bready notes. Somwewhat hoppy finish. KnutAlbert (6798) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 29, 2007
Fruity, with a liberal use of hops, giving both flowers and dryness. Some yeastiness, but not too much. A fine lager.

Apale cloudy amber colour with very little head. Believed 2 b infected as the aroma is of stale rotten wood.Quite carbonated but watery to taste with detectable sournerss and a horrible mouldy bread aftertaste. Need 2 try again 2 see an improvement. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2007
A Mes rate:
Bottle at RBESG. More infected foam from Colonsay. Salty, cardboard and a lightly hoppy finish. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2007
Train. Tart funk, cider hints, lambic. sulphue. This is clearly infected but i still quite liked it and if this is how its ment to be its alot better than many scottish ales. cgarvieuk (26360) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 4, 2007
golden orange colour ... little grassy hop aroma ... fruity ... juicy ... thirst quenching hop ... touch too sweet.
