On tap at the CMB brewery, nice color, long lasting and nice lacing, good initial taste but quickly turns medicinal and leaves an aftertaste.
On tap at the Rabbit Hole. Pours a nice bronze color, with just a small, khaki ring. The nose is very floral, with some honey, resin, and spruce. Sweet and malty, with a smooth, pleasant bitterness. On tap at Colorado Mountain brewery. Nice aroma of hops. But has a very nice taste and palate, very smooth, but with a good hop balance.

Poured from growler into Corsendonk chalice.
Pours copper apricot with small head and lace.
Aroma of citrus and straw hops.
Moderate carbonation and significant mouthfeel.
Flavors of grapefruit rind, bitter roots, burnt malts, amber malts, straw hops, cream of tartar/chalk. Overall a bitter mouthfeel but enough sweet malts to make it drinkable if you can handle the bitter hops. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 27, 2012
hey, an IPA near 5%, this could be neat, no? except it’s horribly underattenuated, sits full and goopy on the tongue, consumed in burnt caramelized sugars. the body is rough, starchy and fatiguing and it tastes and smells stale with a heavy load of burnt hop leaves. one of the worst IPAs around.
