Ok, lets get this SHIT out of the way. The only reason this is in my possession is I drove all the way to Newberrytown Rutters, first gas station I know of to sell beer. I am a daily Rutters costumer and hope they learn the beer business fast. This will be short but not sweet. Im 99% sure this is fresh, no help. I drank a few of these as a teen. Here goes, couldnt go away empty handed but to be fair, hey it was only 11 cents more than my morning joe. $1.99 - 24oz. can. Looks like shit, tastes like shit, smells like, well glad I didnt step in it.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of malt and corn. Clear medium golden amber, smooth white head that drops to a thin cover, a couple of lace streaks. Taste is sweet malt with some adjunct, medium fizz, light bittering in the finish. Compared to the small and regional breweries, this isnt much. Compared to all the "big box" guys (from which it comes), it is a step above. Give it credit for that.

Very grainy and tastes under-done. I got this at a gas station. Nothing much good to say about it and I ended up pouring out over half of it. I went into this product with zero expectations and even those were not met.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2016 473 ml can. Could not find any reference to the ABV on the label. Aroma is grainy cereal. Poured clear golden straw with OK head. The taste is quite sweet with fruity ester/solvent, wet cardboard & metallic notes with a slight residual sour aftertaste. Consumed for research purposes only. US brewed Malt Liquor - Tick.

Bottle split at Cotts Convention 2, thanks to Rich, Martyn and Shawn, 05/03/16. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is toasted grain, cereal, sweet notes, paper. Taste comprises much the same, sweet aspartamic vibes, light carmael, more papery notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Smooth enough drinking ML but lacks boost - wats the fucken point ?

Clear bottle shared at Cotteridge II as Colt 45. Many thanks to Macboost and the Birmingham crew. Tanya from Command & Conquer Red Alert used Colt 45s, and for that reason alone Im interested to try this. But thats about as far as my enjoyment goes. Pale yellow, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is biscuity malt, plain and airy. Body is light, slightly foamy, soft carbonation. Taste is sugary pale biscuits, corn, malt sugars, soft finish. Better than most in the style Ive tried. (2.1)

Bottle. Cotteridge Beano v2. Pretty much what I was expecting. Not for me, although its certainly better than the Bud Platinum that preceded it.
