What cab I say? This is urban wino fuel, and not at all appealing to the flavor minded drinker. Okee-dokee... it pours a yellow brew with a fast fading over-carbonated head and tastes like the ghetto brew it’s meant to be. Yech! Frank (4236) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 3, 2014
This can is amazing. It has the Colt 45 horse on the back and says, "WorksEveryTime" in great big letters. Yes, 8.5% alcohol will get the job done just quick. I know that for a fact. This is a kind of dissapointingly flavorless malt liquor. It’s pretty bad and all, good to get drunk on but ultimately unsatisfying. It is pils yellow in color and it’s head barely exists. Its nose is of nothing but a faint whiff of cheap beer. Flavor about follows suit but some slight sweetness brings out that classic high gravity malt grape-drink-esque character. There is a bit of alcohol present but nothing too overt. I’d say a standard IIPA is worse and that has tons of flavor and this has next to none. So, I dunno, good job Colt 45 guy on a relatively clean and yet still terrible beer. slowrunner77 (12810) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 25, 2014
"beer #1 in recent ghetto "tasting": tall can. didn’t bother pouring these, so I’ll rate the appreance in the can pretty much along the lines of the rest of the beer...which ain’t good. Honestly, I’ve had fouler, but this was skunky, and strong at that, which is both good and bad. Harder to get the skunky corn down at 8% when it warms, but at least you get a buzz." 24 oz can. What’s a road trip to another state if you aren’t ticking malt likkas in the hotel room? Clear pale gold pour with a small soapy white head. As far as malt likkas go, this one doesn’t suck at all. Doesn’t have that awful grapey-aroma that many do. Grainy lager, tastes like a little heavier BMC pale lager. Not very good, but not really offensive either. askewbrew (26) - Edmond, Oklahoma, USA - AUG 24, 2014
Pours to a nice looking white head that hangs around for a while and tries to lace, but then it craps out to a thin ring. Color is light gold. Aroma is sweet corn and veggies--there’s some malt in there too. Flavor is sweet, tangy, clean, boozy and corn-syrupy as hell--just what it should be. Finish is all alcohol and corn. Mouthfeel is light and dry and more like brandy or vodka. Overall, a decent buzzer that plays to its audience well.

Niet zo speciaal, heeft hoge alcohol graad maar smaakt zoals een doordeweekse pils, niet veel smaak aan Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - MAR 24, 2014
Totally horrible. BUt dirnkable only for the record. Very strong and sweet but high to swallow after some time. Shag (3045) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - FEB 16, 2014
A golden color with a white head as expected. The aroma smells like pee and corn. So far this isn’t going well. The flavor is rather mild for jacked up ABV malt liquor. I expect that harsh paint thinner like burn but none of that here. The flavor is slightly sweet with corn, cooked veggies, and a bit of creamy mouthfeel. I fear I might be talking myself into liking this. Its still pretty bad but Im not making a face with every sip. And that is the criteria I go for in this style. Pours a pale golden straw color with off white head. Aroma of sweet malt and corn. Flavor is a sweet malt and corn adjuncts. Pretty smooth likka.
