Amber body with a decent fluffy white hop head and some hop leaf debris settling at the bottom of the glass. Candi hop fruity nose--juicy. Bitter body of acerbic hops. Grapefruit, tangerine, and peach. Alcohol breath on the finish.

Draught at Watering Hole, Yoyogi. Clear amber - white head. High hoppy. Aggressive. Citrus. Resin. Grape fruit. Light sweet malty. Lots of bitterness. Knækbrød. Tobacco. Ok - a bit too aggressive.

A cloudy orange with a thick beige head. It's got nice hop bouquet of juicy citrus, tropical fruits and light pine. The taste is bitter pithy grapefruit rind & malty caramel sweetness. This is also near it's expiry date but has held up much better than the Pale Ale. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber poured to cup. Hoppy aroma with a piney citrus zest. Maple color, average activity, tiny suspended yeast clumps. Citrus rind, sweet, Just enough malt. Pithy grapefruit finish leaves it a bit too bitter.

On tap at CBM Jimbocho. Cloudy orange color with a big soapy off-white head. Aromas of pine, resin, bark, citrus, caramel and toasted malt. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Bitter and sweet on the palate with the malts standing out fairly well. Dry finish. Nothing special but not bad.

Bottle from Whole Foods, Lynnwood
Cloudy orange / light amber color with creamy head. I know for a fact that this is not a fresh bottle, yet, it has a very nice fruity aroma, sweet oranges. The mouthfeel is quite dry; nice malt profile, lean, a bit grainy; powerful hopping, resiny, but because of the aging it seems a bit vegetable now.
I should look for a fresh bottle because it’s not bad.

Sarlacc83 (2301) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 13, 2015
On tap at the brewpub.

A: Cloudy orange, frail white head.

N: Grapefruit, pine, pineapple, earth, biscuit, and more citrus.

T: Sweet, then citrusy and bitter. Good balance here.

M: Resinous, heavier body. Alcohol is not present. Creamy carbonation as is the case on draft at the brewpub.

O: Decent DIPA. There’s nothing here to really make it stand out in a very crowded field, but it is one of their best beers.

From a bottle. The pour is a hazy dark orange with no head. A malty mango ipa with a minimal tang aftertaste.
