COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not syrupy sweet like most fruit beers, this is for beer drinkers! Just a hint of apricot gives this delicious medium-bodied ale a wonderful aroma and a unique finish. Try it! Available on draft and in bottles.

After trying the Pyramid version, I was scared to try this one. Luckily I was pleasantly surprised! It is actually good! Not great - but good for a fruit beer.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2005 I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would. Pours light brown, with a small white head. Taste is heavy on the apricots. Well done. More apricot flavor than Dogfish’s Aprihop.

Apricot not too overpowering, more of a golden ale then a fruit beer. Lighly bitter kick on the tail end, good warm weather. Apricot undertones. A little bland.

Golden yellow body with a thin white head. No lacing.
Smells like apricots.
Apricot and malt (pils?) mixes nicely together. Sweet and slightly bitter finish. Nice lingering apricot finish.
Medium bodied but not a session beer.

Slight head. Unbelievable apricot and fruit on the nose with a hint of syrup. Apricot is very bold. A little spice balances it out.

Bottle. Pours amber in color with a medium white head. Aroma of apricots, as one would think. Flavor is malty with a hint of apricot. Much better than some of the other fruit beers I’ve tried; this one is like beer with a hint of fruit - not fruit with a hint of beer. Not bad.

pours golden with a white head. aroma is kind of skunky which is weird. flavor is not what i ecpected at all. I can't taset any apricots. kind of hoppy. reminds me of a run of the mill amber.

Smells great, taste is a little bit to be desired. Who came up with putting fruit in beer? What’s next, watermellon or mushmellon?

Bottle at Hang Over Easy. Aroma is, obviously, full of apricot. Also notes of malt, but not much else. Taste is pretty heavy on the apricot, with some malts and a faint taste of hops afterwards. It was not unlike drinking a piece of toast with apricot jam on it. It wasn’t overly sweet, so I’ll give it credit for that. Could have been better, could have been worse.

not bad for a fruit beer. from 12oz bottle. clear amber with some head. apricot flavor is faint but nice. the fruit blends with the hops well. im not usually a fan of fruit beers but this one wasnt bad
