Drinks bigger than it is. Huge hop presence, but not "too huge." Leaves you wanting more.
One word of caution.... do not drink this beer at a movie theater, you’ll end up going back to see the movie again to remember the ending. ryecatcher (1436) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2016
On draught. Had this at Matt the Miller’s while in Columbus with Heather to see the Rangers play. Honey-gold pour with whitish head, slightly hazy. Nose is citrus, pine, dankness, crackery malt. Mouth is medium-full, sticky, moderately sweet, citrus, pine, tropical fruit, toast. Dangerously drinkable for an 8.5% Homer321 (5071) - Melboring, Florida, USA - APR 2, 2016
Growler thanks to a trade. Lots of Danky hops with cheese and tropical fruit. Taste is crisp in malt and lots of dank hop flavor. Mild bitterness. No hint of alcohol. Really damn good. FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 28, 2016
Sampled on draft at Vintage Estate this beer poured a hazy golden color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy, piney and had a catbox note. The flavor was sweet and tangy pine and catbox. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied. Alcohol well controlled. Another beer ruined with awful hops. Meh. , Cleveland, USA. Medium bit bitter, simple aroma with overaged fruits. Light yellow color with small white head and clear liquid. Medium bold taste with overaged fruits, honey, some citrus and malts. Medium taste spectrum and long hoppy citrus aftertaste. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, interesting DIPA, highly refreshing and bold at the same time. Still, or because, a bit simple though.
32 oz growler. Thin, crisp, golden color. Great aroma, floral, citrus, resin, etc. Tastes really good. Not the best taste from an IPA i’ve ever had, but a mouthfeel and finish that’s as good as any. Makes it really easy to just keep drinking this stuff. One of the best that is still under the radar. hopscotch (11084) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 7, 2015
Growler... Pours clear and golden with a small, fleeting, white head. The aroma features onion and muskiness - like a woman’s armpit after running a 5K. Full-bodied with modest carbonation. Fairly heavy, rindy bitterness coats my tongue and won’t let go. I’m left with a bittersweet aftertaste of citrus rind and English biscuit. Growler courtesy of ctipping! kathouse (1890) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - NOV 28, 2015
Golden with a thick coarse head. Very nice hop aroma. Pine, orange, mango. Dry and refreshing. Very nice. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - OCT 5, 2015
ticked at the source. AH the Bodhi. hmmmm....
This is very subpar. Tons of bitterness, grass and some pine. Lots of sweetness, this is a Stone 2008 IPA.
