(From 2011 notes).
This is the latest Hop Odyssey brew from CBC. proper category according to CBC is Extra Pale Ale.
It looks much like a standard macro-brewers lager but the similarity ends there. The aroma reveals a clear hop presence. A noticeable lemony aroma becomes pronounced in tasting - probably Simcoe hops.
A VERY crisp and quite dry mouthfeel. Light-medium body.
O - an excellent offering, particularly if you like a moderately hoppy, dry and crisp ale. No ned to add lemon to this one. RRistow12 (944) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - SEP 1, 2013

Tap sample. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced hops and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind as a good drinkable beer.

On tap at Gallo’s. Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, malt and grass. Piney and grassy hop flavor with a bit of citrus before a malty, grassy hop finish. Dogbrick (13751) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 29, 2011
On draught at Gallo’s Tap Room. The beer is a clear pale yellow-gold color with a medium white head that burns away steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and bready malt. Light to medium body with a crisp hoppy character that has grassy and herbal qualities. Sweet malt base as well. The finish is hoppy and lingering. Overall a decent tasty lower-ABV Pale Ale.
