COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our IPA pours a slightly hazy, pale orange with a balanced malt flavor and finishes with a wonderful flavor and aroma only American hops can provide. This beer is served unfiltered to retain all the bouquet from the hops.

Nice heavy hop aroma to start this one off. It pours a hazy dark amber, with a full white head. Nice clean hop flavor, with lots of citrus coming through, with a long lingering bitter finish. A little bit of creaminess in the mouthfeel. This is a solid and delicious IPA, I highly recommend it.

Best IPA around. It is smooth, refreshing and clean. It's my go to beer, on tap is just as good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

chinchill (5313) - South Carolina, USA - AUG 1, 2017
On tap at the brewery; from 2011 notes. A nice medium amber with a very durable off-white head. There are plenty of hops in this one, that much is obvious from the nose. There’s a mix of hops, although I can’t tell which ones. The finish is markedly hoppy and long lasting, but without the strong bitterness i’ve come to expect in a beer this hoppy. Nice level of malts to balance the hops. M- medium body and carbonation. O - excellent, if otherwise not distinguished example of style.

Slightly hazy amber with a decent lacy off white head. Aroma is pineapple orange citrus hop. Taste is sharp and tropical juicy - sweet orange into pink grapefruit with a mildly bitter hop finish. Bitter aftertaste. Well-balanced. This is a strong, drinkable IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

superspak (6008) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - DEC 3, 2016
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/3/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/grassy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, mango, melon, lemon/orange rind, pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.3%. Overall this is a fantastic IPA! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced bitterness. Very bright and pretty juicy/dank on hop flavors. A highly enjoyable offering.

ContemplateBeer (2097) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - SEP 4, 2016
12 oz. bottle at Robert H’s wedding; bottled on 8/24/16. Aroma: Prominent butterscotch with lighter, astringent citrus. Appearance: Coppered, somewhat hazy gold with soft carbonation holding up a tuft of foamy tan head that settles into a sticky skin. Flavor: Sweet butterscotch hard candy up front with dose of citrus hops that are much more bitter than juicy; the finish is bitter and semi-sweet. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Old-school American IPA that’s a bit of an anachronism in the current market.
