A crisp unfiltered Kellerbier. This traditional Bavarian style originated from the small artisanal breweries of Franconia, where Kellerbier is still a favorite beverage in the local beer gardens.

O - quite pleasant for what it is, with more than minimal flavor. A: very pale yellow gold with durable white head; slightly hazy Rather minimal aroma; light malt with little else. Given this, the flavor is a pleasant surprise. First, it has flavor. The flavor is rather simple but nicely malty with unmistakable hop spiciness. M- light bodied, but with a nice bit of crispness.

Bottle. Effervescent and fruity esters. Yeast and slight malt backbone. Fairly invisible yet light and drinkable.

Yellow beer with a lasting white head. Corny macro nose. Light biscuit malt sweetness with a bit of citrus hop in the finish. Pretty pedestrian beer.

Bottle from michcam8. Thanks. Pours like garbage. Smells like garbage. Tastes like watered down garbage. No boost. Would rather drink lemonade. Ohio can’t make a decent beer to save its life.

superspak (6011) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - JUL 13, 2015
12 ounce bottle into dimpled mug, bottled on 3/19/2015. Pours lightly hazy golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of light lemon, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of light lemon, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate earthy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, bread, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and robustness of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness after the finish. Incredibly clean on lager flavors with zero estery yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a damn nice kellerbier style. All around great robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Yeast. It's lager bro! Crisp, little fruity. But tastes and smells an above average lager. Overall okay! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2014 Pours golden with a white head. Aromas of citrus hops and sweet malt. A hint of bitter lemon and skunkiness. Citrusy flavors, cut grass, bready notes and a pleasant hop bite. Delicious.

12oz bottle from Lucky’s Market. Yellow-gold pour with thin white head. Aroma of grain, grass, pale malt, lemon. Tastes are along those lines, heavy on the grain and corn. Honey, cereal.

Bottle:   Whitish yellow, soft sudsy white head, little lacing.   Doughy nose, slight grassiness.   Soft sweet grassiness on the tongue.   Very clean and crisp.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft grassy finish.   An unremarkable beer, but clean for what it is.   Probably great session beer for a hot day, or mowing the lawn!
