13 oz draught, Pint Room. Surprisingly light-colored; golden-copper, smaller white head. Aroma heavy pine and citrus, some caramel. Flavor is a punch in the face; over the top too much hops, Jesus. 10% abv doesnt show at all in the flavor, but you can certainly feel it. Pint Room had this under their "Barleywine" section and this is a terrible misclassification--its an IIPA and nothing else. Poorly balanced.

The 2016 release was very strange and unpleasant. This year fares better. Softly-hazed super-sunny pour. Surface of the nose has tons of tropical fruit and quite a hefty balance of earthy hops. Mango, passionfruit, orange, papaya, sweet pineapple, all mingling with very gentle pine resin qualities, a subtle minty eucalyptus, bready malt and mellow lemon skin. Tons of the same tropical fruits on the flavor, papaya and citrus, flowers and resin lie at a distance. Much more balanced than last years, but a bit too sweet and fruity. For 10%, my palate would like a bit more bite. But the alcohol is hardly present for the ABV. Really well-hidden, and truly is a "creeper".

From notes. Somehow this drinking session evaded my developments. Enjoyed at Dougs house on October 28. 12 oz bottle. The pour is a nice foggy golden orange color with a thick white head that lasts and lasts. The aroma is pretty good. There is a light leafy hop and an absolute ton of citrus. There is a hint of orange syrup and a light maltiness. The flavor is a bit better. There is a lot more juicy hops. The malt is there and decently prevalent, but the juiciness overpowers it nicely. The light bitter orange rind on the finish ties it all together. The mouth feel is pretty good. Its lighter and crisp with a nice carbonation and a lingeringly sweet juiciness. There isnt any of the big alcohol on it, and the fruitiness if the lingering flavor. I like this one.

Aroma is a little more dank with pine and tropical fruits. I pick up mango, pineapple, and grapefruit. Bitter fruit lasts and lasts. Another great beer from Columbus Brewing.

Bottle thanks to Ray in recent trade. Pour is lightly hazy with copper tones and a small white head. Aroma is big and hoppy with sticky mango notes and light orange peel. A touch of malty sweetness but overall not an overpowering Aroma given alcohol content. Flavor is hearty with resinous hops leading off followed by lighter citrus and floral notes. sweet caramel malt backbone here. Impressively balanced for its heft. The finish does catch up a bit though with hints of orange liqueur.

Bottle thnx to Mike ! Pours rather clear amber, good white head . Smell is pine, very intense, bitter; Taste is very intense, pine, extremely pine. Also an amazing amount of stone-fruit like characters. Tha amarillo balances it all out to a pure hopjuice bomb. this is bold, and extreme, the way I like it. Might not be my favourite kind of hoppyness, but the intensity here is damn nice !

Cloudy golden color with a tiny off-white head. Strong hops, resin, bitterness and some malty balance. Really nice surprise. New brewery for me. Rich and balanced. Nice.

Appearance: Hazy medium amber with a fine head of tiny white bubbles. Nose: Citrus hops with elements of mango and pineapple. Medium sweetness Taste: Fruit hop forward with bits of bitter and sweetness afterwards good balance Body: softer carbonation with a medium to thinner body Parting thoughts: Tasty DIPA without fanfare. Well blended flavor elements.

Golden color out of the keg with a short sticky white head. Big sweet citrus and tropical fruit hop nose. There is a lot of alcohol in this. Lots of candied grapefruit, mango, resin, and melted caramel. This is a big, sticky iipa.

Look - Slight orange-ish yellow. I can see through it. Decent amount of head. Smell - Grapefruit. Passion Fruit. Pineapple. Taste - Tropical fruit followed by pine and a little bitterness. Feel - Medium. Very wet up front. Overall - A very citrusy beverage. Do the creep. I took this to a cold, rainy Dark Lord Day 2015 and few bit.
