UPDATED: JUN 14, 2012 Had on tap at Bare Hands. The beer was a dark amber color with light carbonation. Lots of citrus and floral hop aroma. The hops definitely shined through on the beer. Ok DIPA.... 574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - MAR 15, 2012
On tap. Aromas of apricots, plums, dark fruits, figs, some earth and spicy zest. Appearance is seriously chameleon-like. It’s either a darker gold or a darker amber depending on the light and how you hold it...pretty cool. Taste is quite sweet, but supremely bitter as well. Palate is rich, full bodied, with a super-long bitter finish. Another awesome big beer from Bare Hands. And they have growlers for sale now, so grab one and take some of this home with you. hollardustin (327) - Indiana, USA - FEB 20, 2012
On tap at Bare Hands Brewery in Granger, IN. I was shocked to learn from the owner/head brewer that this beer was single hopped with Columbus hops. I just gained a whole new respect for this variety. Pours the color of grapefruit juice with a small white head. The aroma is very pungent grapefruit, tangerine, and pineapple. The taste is just like the aroma, just a big citrus bomb. This is a new brewery and is currently very small, but there is a ton of potential here. Great stuff.
