SirLimpsalot (4550) - SWEDEN - MAR 14, 2016
@ Commons Ale House, Santa Monica, 16-3-13: En frisk och blommig cider med tydlig ton av röda bär och blommor. Halvtorr munnkänsla.

gyllenbock (9977) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 14, 2016
On tap at the Commons Ale House, Santa Monica. Orange with a minimal head. Aroma and taste of apples, some very light oak. Fairly dry and not that sweet. A refreshing one.

marcus (10736) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 19, 2016
Bottle from Whole Foods, Sacramento. Pours reddish orange with no head and a floral aroma. There is an herbal flowery apple flavor with a dry finish,

Didn’t really get the yeast in this one - just apples and florals from the hisiscus. A little thin and light on carb, otherwise very enjoyable.

can. Golden with small head. Tart apple with some light floral notes from the hibiscus. I don’t get the "saison" part of the name at all. There’s none of the usual yeastiness you’d expect from the saison style.

Why does this say Saison? Nothing Saison about it. Crisp cider, ok taste. Lame packaging.

This cider was pretty decent. Not perfumy or too strong. Balanced, not too much apples to off-throw the floral and hibiscus. I don’t know what hibiscus tastes like plain, but in here there was a floral, grassy, vineyard feel to the drink. Effervescent, not too chemical or anything feel or taste. No crispness or drying effect, which I normally associate with cider

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2017 From a shared 22 oz bottle.
Looks great! Clear rosy body with a bubbly head.
Feel: Champagne.
Smells like a very good, but rather typical cider.
Fabulous flavor, with a gentle contribution from the hibiscus and an overall high complexity. Excellent balance every which way.

Can. Another decent tasting cider, polite hints at the hibiscus, but nothing too special. Honestly I don’t get whatsoever why they label this with ’saison’. There’s no funk, no barnyard, it’s just a nice sweet cider.

Not a big aroma for all ciders becuase of the less co2. This one has the essence of a fruit bowl across the room. The appearance is intriguing with a mysterious auburn sunset orange hue. Mouthfeel is medium. This sample was very cold which tends to thicken things. It washes down both acid, and sweet balanced perfectly. Leaves a clean fruit gum feel on the palate with a slight bright tartness to it. Quite enjoyable, not overly floral at all.
