bottle from Norma. Hazy brown with a beige head. Grainy malty start with roasted flavours, shy yeasty fruity touch and some shy hops in the finish.

Süßlicher dunkler Beginn, kurzzeitig röstig, was aber schnell wieder verfliegt. Süßlich bleibend, dabei etwas getreidig, mild herb, insgesamt rund. Etwas steigende Würzigkeit zum Ende. Gelungen. 8/9/9/9/8/9

Lahev: Amber coloured, hazy, mid-sized off-White head with a good lace; sweetish toasty-caramelly nose, nutty traces in the Background; quite soft, moderate bready sweet-bitter flavour; gets a bit more bitter and drier in the short nutty-hoppy finish. Astonishingly good...by Hösl standards...

Bottle 50cl, a slightly cloudy amber beer with medium head. Nose is on caramel and green vegetables. Aroma is on caramel, grain, vegetable beans, grassy hops, medium bitterness, dry grapes, toffee. Finish is on toasted caramel with good bitterness. Touch of an altbier.
