Poured a darker brown with a beige head. Aroma was of dark chocolate and light coffee. Flavor was roasted, chocolate cooffee. Good. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - APR 24, 2016
Dark brown body with a quarter inch of filmy beige head. The expected roast and coffee character in both the nose and flavor. Simple and straightforward. A bit light in body. Could be bolder and more assertive. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - FEB 10, 2016
Bottle from Bearded Monk, dated 11/12/15. Pours a very dark brown with a foamy brown head. The aroma is sweet malt with a hint of coffee. The coffee really shows up in the flavor but you can also taste the base Baltic Porter. Nice. crajun (1243) - , Texas, USA - FEB 5, 2016
one of my favorite styles and favorite brewers - growler from caps and taps. Aroma has a strong coffee/earth/slight barnyard - love it! dark pour with zero head; good palate - easy drinker; lacking some on flavor - I get some coffee but not much else.....better as it warms Jow (3924) - New York, USA - JAN 23, 2016
From blutt59 nice black pour. Nose is vanilla and coffee. Tastes of espresso, vanilla, green pepper, toasted malt, some chocolate and light earth. Pleasant.

Really rich coffee aroma. Big tan head on a black body. The balance of bitter and sweet leans to bitter a bit much. Nice malt complexity. Good drinker. drsordr (2659) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JAN 1, 2016
Bottle pour opaque black with moderate tan head. Nose big coffee, roasted malt, some dark fruit. Taste nice roasted malt, big coffee. Light bitter late palate similar to bakers chocolate. Nice roast finish. ttoadee (1491) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2015
Dark pour, slight tan head. Nose is coffee and dark roasted grain. Bittersweet. Middle is treacle, coffee grinds, charred malt. Finish is still bittersweet, light bodied for the style. dyetube (1378) - Hurst, Texas, USA - NOV 11, 2015
On tap at The Common Table. Pours black with a thin brown head. The aromas are chocolate, roasted coffee. The mother is slightly watery and bitter with a heavy body and medium carbonation. Cheers! degbert (1773) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 19, 2015
TCBF. Pours a dark opaque brown with a shallow ring head. Nose is smoke, coffee, chocolate, and vanilla. More vanilla and chocolate on the tongue, along with some dark fruit and cola notes; the vanilla is restrained, which is nice. (I sometimes mistrust vanilla in beers, since it can be used to hide a myriad of sins.) Really smooth and elegant on the finish. This is a lovely, not overwhelming coffee porter.
