COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is not your average IPA. From the incredible nose, to the amazing finish, this IPA is one that both session drinkers and beer nerds alike will love.

Were full on board the hopwagon with this big American-style IPA. However, it is not designed to blow your head off with overpowering hop bitterness. Instead, Mosaic IPA is an extremely well-balanced brew that showcases its unique hop aroma and flavor.

This beer gets its name from a new hop variety named Mosaic, which is predominantly where the immense, raw hop aroma and flavor is derived. Mosaic IPA has a noticeable malt backbone to help soften the high level of hop bitterness and flavor, while keeping the body fairly light.

The word "Mosaic" is also representative of the diverse range of individuals that make up our community. Its perfect in every way!

They nailed it. They claim it is a balanced, non-hop bomb ... and they delivered exactly what they set out to do. Has a serious malt backbone (vanilla, oak, honey/caramel, doughy bread). Has some very noticeable hop flavors/notes (tangerine). A nice all-around beer. Im actually kind of surprised after tasting that its actually an IIPA, I certainly wouldnt be drinking a ton of them. Seem a little doughy and at that ABV itd do some damage.

I like this! Off-white head, enduring lacing, well-balanced for a DIPA. Draft in a snifter.

12oz bottle from bananabi11. Thanks! Orange copper pour with an off-white head. Little lace. Nose is sweet malty, some fruits, including some stone fruits. Taste follows. Bummer to have after a solid mosaic example. The malts lead ... and overwhelm, and that is a shame. Not even too mosaic-y. 13.2

Bottle. It poured an orange color with a white head. The aroma was of mango, apricot and some pine. The taste was similar to the aroma with more orange, mango, grapefruit, hops and a grassy finish. Very nice.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2016 Recent discovery of a welcome Texas beer. I poured into a tulip glass. Yields a great dark yellow with an orange tint. Very dense. Good on the smell. Spruce and some spices. Taste tops the smell. Woody, a bit of lemon, orange peel, very much an IPA. A lot of depth. Stays on the palate. I appreciate Lost Gold from Real Ale but this is better.

Draught at the Banger's Sausage House, Austin, TX. Clear amber color with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity hops, candies, more sweetness, sugar and sweet malt in the aroma. The sweetness is over the top but it doesn't bother. The flavor is sweet dark fruity hops, sugary sweetness, moderate bitterness and some dry notes at the end there somewhere. Strong and rich. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at Flying Saucer. It pours clear dark amber with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, grassy, dank, pine, light toffee and light spice. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, dank, earth, spring onion, herbal, light toffee, resin and decent alcohol hit with a dry warming finish. Medium and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty decent.

The pour is golden to straw with a decent head and heavy lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy to citrus. Getting some mango flavor with a hint of pineapple. Nice citrus taste with orange peel and lemon zest. Not much of a malt, or bitterness flavor at first. Slight hints of orange peel and grapefruit develops on the back end, with a bitter hop profile in the finish. Mouth-feel is thick with moderate carbonation.
