Enjoyed it and very festive. Strong spice aroma with cinnamon and nutmeg. Dark caramel color and a small head. Average weight palate but full. Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a near clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and grain backed by light spice and bread. Clear amber with a thin light beige head. Nice winter-spice nose with big notes of cinnamon, clove, coriander and dark raisin-like Belgian malts. Tastes amazing, with mellow and well-married spice and dark malt tones; raisin, sweet dark chewy malts, clove, cinnamon, and earthy caramel. Very smooth and winter-like.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brownish-red color with a tan head. The aroma is very complex. I get some nice cinnamon notes, as well as some cherries and red wine. The flavor is very similar with good wine-like character complimented by some spiciness and cinnamon. As the beer warms I start to get some cocoa and toffee character.
