Enjoyed it and very festive. Strong spice aroma with cinnamon and nutmeg. Dark caramel color and a small head. Average weight palate but full. It was dessert-like with some sweetness, caramelized fruit and cinnamon. Hops presence was mild and complimenting. Would have it again. deyholla (11496) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a near clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and grain backed by light spice and bread. Flavor is a bit muddled with spice, grain and bread with just a hint of sweetness underlying. legion242 (2348) - Richardson, Texas, USA - JAN 20, 2014
Poured a pretty deep copper with whispy head. Slight spice on the nose. Alcohol hidden a bit too well ;-) mar (5409) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Ruby with a cream head. Nose is sweet dark fruits, rich malts, caramel, and light yeast. Great on the palate, big chewy malts, fruits, caramel, light alcohol and a nice finish. onceblind (9418) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 26, 2013
Clear amber with a thin light beige head. Nice winter-spice nose with big notes of cinnamon, clove, coriander and dark raisin-like Belgian malts. Tastes amazing, with mellow and well-married spice and dark malt tones; raisin, sweet dark chewy malts, clove, cinnamon, and earthy caramel. Very smooth and winter-like.

Tap at Zio Carlo. Pours a slightly hazy amber orange color with no head. Small bubbles around the edge. Aroma is sticky caramel malts and banana clove notes. Flavor is spicy, cinnamon and other winter spices. Some fruity notes. Sweet finish. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - FEB 24, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brownish-red color with a tan head. The aroma is very complex. I get some nice cinnamon notes, as well as some cherries and red wine. The flavor is very similar with good wine-like character complimented by some spiciness and cinnamon. As the beer warms I start to get some cocoa and toffee character. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. blutt59 (6562) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 23, 2013
