UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014 10/14 re-rate; not sure I enjoyed as much - no rating change; will try more.............................................. had low expectations and will now be purchasing a six pack for the summer. very much enjoyed this brew - malt, bread and a freshness for lack of better word in aroma. taste was crisp, malty and PERFECT amount of bitter hops to balance - probably what a pale ale was before everyone went hop crazy. bottle. mar (5417) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 26, 2014
Crisp amber with an off white head. Nose is rich malts, dough, bread, sweet, and caramel. Smooth palate, caramel, faint roast, clean, bitter, and an easy finish. notalush (5878) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 6, 2014
Tap at the brewery - clear straw color - aroma of toasty and bready malts, a bit Munich richness, lightly grassy hops - flavor is mostly clean, round carbonation in the mouth - fairly rich malts, followed by toasty notes, tempered by a peppery and grass hop bite on the end - the finish is slightly unclean, but otherwise a pretty solid offering. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Bottle thanks to Bill!   Somewhat of a weak soy sauce flavor profile.   Its grainy, mealy, and very dusty with a stale cupboard background.   Its like old crackers, meat, and bread all in one, with some old soy sauce.   Nope, this one is not working at all. jsquire (4492) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - FEB 13, 2014
Light amber color out of the bottle with a short lived off white head. Light toasted grain nose. Clean malty beer with some caramel sweetness and faint wet grains. Mild bitterness in the finish.

Appearance - dark copper color
Aroma - slightly nasty. Like poop.
Mouth - smooth. Light carbs. Crisp.
Taste - light funky flavor. Not as crisp as lagers I like. Mild. Dry finish.
Overall - not bad. A little dry and plain for my taste. jkwalking05 (4740) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2013
(Backlog) On tap. The look is copper colored, white decent head, and almost clear. The smell is grainy, rich, malt, real rich malt, and mulch. The taste is rich, malty, mulch, cedar, and good.

Tap at Zio Carlo. Pours a very clear dark orange color with a very frothy beige head. Aroma is malty sweet, grainy, biscuity, sugar and toast. Flavor is smooth, malty, grains, light sweetness with a gentle bitterness. This is very tasty. Jamie/Eric hasn't lost his touch!
