Pours clear copper with a small beige head. Smells malty, hints of caramel. Taste is caramel sweetness with bitterness on the back end. Light-bodied with a wet texture and average mouth-carbonation, Community Vienna Lager finishes with a lingering lager crispness. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 14, 2013
On tap at BTBF and the brewery. I guess it shows that Jamie hasn’t lost a step from the Covey’s multiple GABF and WBC medals for the Vienna. Pours with a clear golden-copper hued body with a retentive white head. Aromas are huge toasty malt, baked bread, biscuity. Low floral hop. Very clean fermentation. Flavors are toasty, lightly floral, honey, bready, biscuity. Probably the best Vienna that I have ever had (including Heater Allen Lagers, Great Lakes, Jack’s Abbey, etc). Clean, dry, biscuity with medium body. Drinkable. Spot on beer. Cavie (4775) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Tap at Zio Carlo. Pours a very clear dark orange color with a very frothy beige head. Aroma is malty sweet, grainy, biscuity, sugar and toast. Flavor is smooth, malty, grains, light sweetness with a gentle bitterness. This is very tasty. Jamie/Eric hasn't lost his touch!

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014 10/14 re-rate; not sure I enjoyed as much - no rating change; will try more.............................................. had low expectations and will now be purchasing a six pack for the summer. very much enjoyed this brew - malt, bread and a freshness for lack of better word in aroma. taste was crisp, malty and PERFECT amount of bitter hops to balance - probably what a pale ale was before everyone went hop crazy. bottle. On tap @ the brewery.
Deep golden brew with some fluffy white head. Nose is bready and caramel malts - flavor of sweet grains and more malt. Crisp and refined, very easy drinking. I’m not usually a fan of vienna lagers but this has some great flavor.

Tap at BTBF and multiple pours at the brewery. Golden pour with a foamy white head. Nose is estery, grains, cereal. Flavor is cleanly fermented malts, dryer sheets (yes, that’s a thing), fruity, tons of cereal and grain. Great session beer, would love a growler to drink while mowing the lawn, or doing anything else I don’t enjoy. mar (5436) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 26, 2014
Crisp amber with an off white head. Nose is rich malts, dough, bread, sweet, and caramel. Smooth palate, caramel, faint roast, clean, bitter, and an easy finish. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - SEP 20, 2014
Pours a nice deep amber almost copperish color with off-white head. Caramel malts, a hint of citrus, and some biscuit on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with malt. Cybercat (6025) - Georgia, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Comes out of the tap a nice clear a beer with a thick and fine-bubbled pale golden tan head. Malty aroma has an apple overtone. Flavor’s firm malty core holds up apple and subtle yeasty and honey.notes quite well. Smooth texture has average fizz. A good community to join. Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 11, 2013
On tap at Cave's. Medium brown pour with a small white head. Aroma is light toast and a little caramel. Taste is bready grain, a little bit of bitterness and almost some citrus in the finish.
