Unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear yellow and with a slowly diminishing white head. Hoppy, light frity and mild yeasty aroma. Dry hoppy. Bitter and quite fruity. Dry fruity finish. Simple and tasty. Ungstrup (38154) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2004
[Draft at ZBF 2004] The aroma is sweet malty with notes of yeast, peach, and corriander, a very fresh aroma. The color is a hazy dark yellow and it has a small disappearing head though lazing. The flavor is somewhat weird, very spicy from corriander, cloves, and more I cannot recognize. I do not like the flavor. joergen (28772) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 9, 2011

Tap at Domus. Slightly hazy golden color, large white head, good lacing. Aroma of malt, licorice, black pepper. Taste is bitter hops, especially in the finish. Decent example of the style.

(Bottle 100 cl) Pale golden, hazy with a lacing head. Very flowery nose, with bitter hops dominating all the way through and lingering on the palate. Grasy, hoppy notes. A lovely crisp pilsener, that reminds me of of a quality classic German pilsener. 280598 Oakes (18209) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 9, 2001
Tasty, extremely citric pils - like grapefruit juice........................ FatPhil (16692) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 13, 2007
On the dark side of pilsners. Lively, and sharp in the mouth due to both carbonation and bitterness. Lacking body, but the hops stop it from being boring. MiP (15943) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2005
OK bitterness. Unclear yellow colour. Standard, non-crap pils............... thewolf (12714) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2013
Tap @ the brewpub, Leuven. Pours clear golden with a persistent, creamy, white head. Aroma is mild, hay, grass, light sweet malts. Medium carbonation, light and slightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, light sugar, quite some grassy hops. German pils hidden as a Belgian ale? Fresh and fairly bitter finish.
