Cask (gravity dispense) at the Bricklayers Arms Yorkshire Beer Festival on 23 February 2011 (as Concertina Best Bitter). Amber colour. No head to speak of. Decent condition. Biscuity malt aroma with a touch of soft fruit. Just a little clammy. Some initial sweetness on the palate. More sharp fruit. Plenty of tangy hops. Quite dry aftertaste. Firm mouthfeel. A good solid session bitter and not short of interest.

Cask Stillage at the Union Bar, Barnsley 17/08/2002
Amber golden coloured and sweet. Lasting dry hop finish. leaparsons (10541) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2004
Light amber and brown with a bubbly white head of foam. Aromas are light and malty with some pepper. Flavours are dry and earthy, fruity with sulphur. Dry and hoppy on the finish. OK.
