Bottle. Plum brown colour. Smells a bit of Bret. Rubber and bret flavour. Some roasted notes on the finish. I actually really like this!

Cask at Milton Keynes Beer Festival; clear copper pour with a bubbly white head, aroma has caramel, taste has autumn leaves, light fruits, some sweet malts.

Bottle from Andy Thomo, pours nice deep ruby with adequate head. Malty start with little sweetness. Good ABV but poor aroma hopping. There’s no balance to the finishing bitterness which drags this beer down and out.

ManVsBeer (10954) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 18, 2015
Cask @ Swan Inn, Liverpool. Copper-red with a thin head. Has a floral sweet-berry aroma and taste.

Bottle from Center Parcs Woburn. Tasty, full nutty flavour. Slightly metallic tang but still really satisfying

3.2
Beese (3210) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2013
Cask at the Milton Keynes Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear chestnut colour with a thin, scummy white head. Malty aroma with some grass and floral hops. Flavours of caramel, raisins and hay. Finishes with grains, toffee and some spice.

imdownthepub (15334) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2011
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Copper with white head. Dark, roasty, malty beer, pretty smooth but with a light edge of hoppy bitterness. Quite full on the pallate, some fruitiness late on, pretty decent.

[email protected] Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is rather fruity, spicy as well as bitter grassy and some slight notes of caramel as well. Flafvour is caramel malts, fruits, rather sweet sugary notes as well as a mild harsh yeasty/eartyness as well. Still quite nice.

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2009
Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A dark amber coloured beer with a slight off-white head. The aroma is dry fruity malty and earthy. Dry and earthy in the mouth with some tea. Better than the sum of its parts.

2.8
Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 14, 2009
This actually has a really nice head on it, permanent and creamy. Flat out malts all over this hints of powdery nesquik milkshakes. Pretty much the same in the mouth. not wholly unpleasant but damn boring.
