Pours a clear, lighter amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of some toasted malts, floral and citrus hops, and some caramel malts. Flavor is rather lighter then expected with the toasted malts dominating. Finishes with a little bitterness from the floral hops. Decent beer but nothing amazing. trokini (1025) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 7, 2008
Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Lager aroma of yeast, sugar, some hops. Watery, corny taste at first, but comes back later with more hops. A sugary cereal taste is prevalent throughout. Not great, but not bad. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUL 30, 2008
Clear copper pour with fair eggshell head. Sweet and malty. Watery body. Not too bad, but nothing all that special. I do love the label though. PorterPounder (7968) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2008
St. Petersburg, Fl. - Shep’s Deli - 22 oz bomber. Medium copper colored pour with a bubbly, airy white head. Not much of an aroma, a hint of fresh lake water and some graininess. Hint of bittersweetness in the flavor with some mild nutty flavors, a hint of caramel and a touch of bland lager. Nothing offensive here - just does not set my world on fire. Clean, even mouthfeel. Mark this one as average. Unlike other Coney Island brews this one does not sport a phallic symbol....unless I just do not "get" the smiling circus guy. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - AUG 13, 2008

amber hue with off white fluffy head, the aroma is caramelly and sweet. well carbonated, it has fruity body that has the flavor of can sugar and some malt. TheBeerGod (6221) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - SEP 17, 2008
Bottle. Amber colored pour. Tall foamy off-white head. Nose is caramel, soft citrus, light earthy and floral hops, some spicy notes and toasted malt. Taste is caramel, sweet malts, fruit flavors (mostly citrus but a hint of pear in there), spicy and earthy hops, light floral notes and some nuttiness. The body on this is a bit chewy for a vienna with a moderate carbonation and a medium overall feel. Ends with more caramel, sweet malts, fruit notes, peanuts, spicy and floral hops and bready notes. blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Bottle. Pours amber orange with a fizzy white head. Sweet malt aroma with fruity esters and caramel. The flavor is sweet malt with some hoppy notes. Nicely balanced. Decent. GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - JUL 5, 2009
This was my 2nd favorite beer from the Coney Island line-up of beers we had. While it didn’t knock my off my feet, it was solid enough to enjoy the entire pint without dumping it out like the other 2.

The beer pours out a clear copper color with a small, tight white head. Aroma has some light toasted malt notes, a bit biscuity, light floral notes and a touch of toffee. Had they all been kicked up a few notches, it obviously would have been a much more interesting beer. Flavor is sweet, with honeyish malt profile, toasted bread with a mild grassy hop character. Easy to drink, easy to forget though.
A surprising lager! Poured amber with white head on draft at St Paul Summer Beer Fest, nose was caramel and a bit of hops. The taste up front was a bit of hops that lead into a bready/yeasty malt with some caramel sweetness that finishes rather bitter. A lager I like to drink, not bad at all!
