Overall is so high because of the drinkability. Crisp refreshing lager that was enjoyable to just kick back and enjoy. A great lawnmower beer. Ernest (7718) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 27, 2008
Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white to light brown, mostly diminishing.
Body is clear medium to dark amber.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie, caramel), moderately hoppy (apricot, flowers, orange/grapefruit), with a light note of black tea.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, syrupy texture, lively carbonation.
Reasonably nice, if simple, aroma followed by an uncomfortably sweet and syrupy mouth experience. Sweetness lingers long after the swallow, and is only barely managed by bitterness. Ho hum overall. brokephibroke (315) - Mead, Colorado, USA - NOV 2, 2008
copper pour whitish nice head. Aroma of spice, yeast and allium. Bland taste and mimnimal body. Better than most of it’s type, but not so good overall. mhelgason (495) - Salem, Oregon, USA - SEP 20, 2008
small white cream (mostly dissapating) head into amber body with good lacing. Aromas of mild malts and hops. flavors of light to moderate bittersweet and finishes light bitter. Some acidic apple in the finish, which is moderately long. I was not a fan. Beaver (1807) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 2, 2011
12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light amber with a small off white head that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet toasted caramel and toffee malts.
The flavor is sweet toffee and caramel malts with a grassy bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation and a syrupy sweet texture.
Overall, I didn’t care for it too much. Reminded me of an amped up Dos Equis.
Nice light toffee/caramel coloring with a solid white head. Smells sweet, almost like caramel candy. Some bitter maltiness in the flavor with some background toffee and caramel notes. Some strange bitterness, too, in the finish that smacks of hops, but almost seems like an oxidized flavor, too. It was present in all 3 of the ones I tried, so I don’t believe it was an "off" bottle. Interesting beer. I would try this one again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - AUG 21, 2012

Pours an average amber with a nose of autumn leaves and biscuit. Flavor is leafy vinegar biscuit. Average mouthfeel. Meh.
22oz bottle, malty aroma, golden pour. watery mouth feel. flavors bitter hops, sour finish. I did not care for this beer much. marcus (10326) - Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 24, 2008
This amber ale poured with a fluffy beige head. It smells kind of like Coney Island. There is a thin malt flavor with a harsh bitter finish. This is not up to Hebrew’s standards. anders37 (26678) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 19, 2009
Bottle. Pours a dark golden color with asmall off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel aroma. Fruity malty grainy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.
