Draft at the savor beer festival. Tastes like the original but with a more Belgian back tone. Pretty good

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2011
Sampled on draft at D’s in Monroeville this beer poured a hazy dark amber color with a medium sized soapy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy sugar and almost artificial grape. The flavor was tangy artificial sweetener, butter and bread. Long tangy and buttery finish. Medium body. Not too good.

ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - JUN 2, 2011
Appearance: Hazed, clover honey-coloured body with a creamyish, white head. Light lacing on the descent. Smell: Simple scent of pale malted barley with a scattering of spice. Incredibly faint hint of nuts and bread, like sniffing one crouton and one lone nut. Soft floral and citrus accents from the hops. A bit of caramel emerges upon warming. Taste: Lightly grainy pale malts, maybe a small portion of pils in there as well. Faint nuttiness. Minor touch of spice here and there. Hops yield florals and a vaguely pithy lemon citrus character. Medium-light bitterness. Develops some caramel as it warms. Drying, faintly bitter finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Overall: No real thrills here, but it is nicely balanced and decently drinkable.

Gold color with a large head. Aroma of handsoap. A lot of carbonation and I didn’t really taste much in it. It was a fizzy mess, I couldn’t even finish the glass, which rarely happens.

leggera ma con un bel sapore secco ma allo stesso tempo molto beverino, ottime le note luppolate e maltate che riempiono tutta la bevuta!

JoeMcPhee (9426) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 6, 2011
Deep amber pour with a thick white head. The nose is very spicy and a little bit herbal. Lots of zesty/earthy hoppiness. Soft hoppy bitterness. The zesty/herbal spice is quite nice. A little bit of light fruitiness on the finish. Almost pineapple-like flavour. It’s definitely Belgian and definitely not a lager.

Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - DEC 3, 2010
Draft. Pours a golden body with a white head and mild lacing. Mild caramel body with light hints of soap and citrus. Light caramel and pepper tones.

Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 16, 2010
On tap at the Oldsmar Tap House pouring up with a gold body and assertive light tan head that you could float a dime on. The aroma is bubbly churning wort hopped up with a load of Chinook and Cascade like hops. Just like boiling wort except for the boiling part. The taste at first seems like bitter beer wort, which I enjoy. It has an initial undercurrent of malts, then graininess and then hoppy wort-ness. It then quickly picks up a strong surge of chewy spicy hops rimmed with bitter grapefruit to lemon citrus hops all the while supported by a tenuously thin layer of sweet malty grainy wortiness.
