Mermaids, those mysterious aquatic lovelies, have popped up all over the world in legend since 1000 BC. No scientific evidence has ever surfaced to support their existence, but were not ones to argue with folklore.

Aroma: Basic pilsner malt smell with a touch of breadiness App: Clear gold with a nice, medium white head for a pilsner. Not much lacing Taste: Sweet with some floral tasting hops, not very bitter. Can barely taste the rye. Palate: small lingering bitterness, nice effect

I had it on tap. It pours a hazy, golden with a minimal, white head. The aroma is hay and corn. The taste is corn, bread, and some fruit. Its crisp and refreshing. This was tasty and a good session beer for the warmer weather.

Draft @ Newark Airport, full size pour (22 oz.) at the regular inflated airport price... Clear golden yellow color. Short white head. Aromas of grains and hop(leave)s. Flavor is light sweet, light hopbiiter, light fruity. Light bodied. Finishes with light bitterness. OK, but too unremarkable to bear the name craft lager (if they call it that).

Pour clear gold with a white head. Aroma is grass, cereal and citrus. Taste is crisp bitters. Light bodied, good carbonation. Seems more bitter then a Pils should be, more reminiscent of an IPA.

This is nice and bitter, fairly light and drinkable but unfortunately a touch catty and metallic. Its a little sweet with some mildly oxidized malt character. This puts it at a step below cheapo American lagers so not horrible but I never plan tovdrinl it again.

Clear golden coloured body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of light malt, some subdued sweetness from caramel, a touch of corn and a bit of yeast. Light-bodied; Strong grain flavours at first with the nuts, earth, light yeast and corn sweetness right behind. Aftertaste shows a little yeast, some robust grains and a bit of sweetness from honey at the tail end. Overall, a decent pils with some nice flavours, but a bit of harshness at the front to get past at the front end. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle during Happy Hour (free) at my hotel in Lower Manhattan, New York on 28-May-2016.
