Draft at the source. Red clear color with fast dying head. Aroma is light toffee and sweet grain. Pretty nice and flavorful for a lager. Lots of sweet grain, lager yeast backbone. Yeah, better then I was guessing. decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - JUN 27, 2014

GrowLOLer. Pour was a dirty amber, some white head, decent looking beer. Some solid caramel malts, a little stale-ish tasting but it might have been my mostly ruined palate. Should try again when in Des Moines. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Tap at the brewpub. The body was reddish brown with a medium khaki head on top The nose was dusty old books and potatoes. There was also some fresh hay. The taste was fresh grains and grass. There was also a nice note of tobacco and toffee. Very well done.
