Draft pour on tap at Quinton’s Bar & Deli (Iowa City, IA). Pours a decent hazed amber golden hue, a touch darker with a decent glow overall. Frothy offwhite head atop is full, creamy, sticks around and laces well enough. Aromas show some punchy Citra hops, fruity elements are a bit tropical and citrusy, the bitter floral and earthy resiny appeal hits a bit stronger as we settle. Initial is lighter bodied overall with just a touch of girth into the middle. A decent fruity Citra tangy appeal meets firmer bitter florals, rind oils and resiny appeal. A mellow sweetness, cleaner backend with some soapy and citrus rind bitterness hangs on. Not potent but certainly on par with a more sessionworthy style. I dig the flavors and flow, but it’d be nice to see the ABV just a touch lower. davebq (1) - - AUG 4, 2016 does not count
Clean taste - subtle with the spices. Really hits the spot after a long hot bike ride. Travlr (24745) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 7, 2016

On tap at the brewery. Clear blonde appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of fresh zesty hops, light toasted grain and hints of bread. Similar flavor, adding a light hop bitterness. Light to medium body with a crisp mouth feel. A nice easy drinking quaffer overall. obguthr (6350) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JUN 4, 2016

Shaker pint draft at Royal Mile in Des Moines, Iowa. I had two, the first was served in a plastic glass, the second in a glass shaker. The pour is hazed golden with a one inch white head. The aroma is grain cereal malt, some citrus and a hint of floral. The taste is the citrus hop, which shows as grapefruit, balanced out by the grain of the malt. Soft sweetness to the finish, which detracted a bit. The palate is light to medium bodied, with soft natural carbonation and the lingering softly sweet finish. Tap at Confluence. Very very solid in its style. Straightforward clean crisp golden ale with a really nice citrus twist. Great on a hot day. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 2, 2015
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with white head. Cereal grains, some light pilsner malt notes, some light grass, and a hint of citrus on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes clean and light. malrubius (2896) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - MAY 7, 2015
Squealer from Iowa. Cloudy golden with white ring and lace. Beautiful citrus lemon aroma. Mild tropical fruit sweetness with lemongrass with very dry finish with a hint of citrus. Light and refreshing but I can’t imagine why they didn’t use a Belgian yeast to give it a little bready fruitiness. Very good but could have been better.
