Growler @ Presidential Suite. Thanks, John. Dark brown, nearly black, pour with a khaki head. Orange peel and roasted malts on the nose. Lots of herbal, earthy hops as well. Some coffee grounds and piney hops. there’s a nice bitterness to the taste. Tons of orange, pine, and woody herbs. Somewhat earthy and there’s a strong coffee character. Lots of roast. Slight citrus character and malt sweetness.

Growler at Paul’s for the Blind Stout tasting. Pours a dark ruby tinged brown to black with a thin beige head. Loads of bright citrus hops on the nose, smells awesome. Roasty but subtle still, lots of soft cocoa and a backbone of pithy grapefruit filled citrus. Long roast into the finish with a good amount of bitterness. Lovely stuff.
