Ar: Crackers; hint of biscuit; pineapple and marmalade hop notes. Ap: Golden amber and clear; medium-small off-white head with low retention, leaving a ring of lacing and some spotty nebulous cover. T: Biscuit and caramel; pineapple and dried apples; bitterness is medium and firm, quite clean, with just the slightest moss and herb note; caramel flavor and deep maltiness with very little sweetness; finish is bitters, anise, and pineapple. P: Light body with high carbonation; finish is dry. O: A yummy UK bitter; lots of malt flavor while retaining a very high degree of drinkability. redders1974 (1757) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2017

Draught. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Aroma and taste are pretty much the same; grass, biscuit, honey, and a touch of lemon. Bitter but balanced by a malty sweetness. Light body. Soft carbonation. Smooth, slightly sticky mouth feel.

God bitter fra Coniston Brewing. Tilpas med humle. Meget frisk øl, der savner lidt sødme. mR_fr0g (14430) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2015

On cask at Black Bull Coniston - Clear gold body with a tight foamy white head. A flowery hop nose. Not as bitter as the standard Bluebird and sweeter. Tangy finish, but got a little samey as the drink went on. boxofrane (2559) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2015
Cask at iron abbey. Pours hazy amber with a large white head, great retention. The aroma is clean, floral, a tad citrus. The taste has a nice grainy taste but has a sneaky bitterness in the finish. Great balance between the hoppiness and sweetness. imdownthepub (15751) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 9, 2015
Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Festival ’15. Gold with white head. Sweetly balanced beer, full malts, quite fruity along with a balanced bitterness. I’d forgotten how good Coniston Bluebird was but this was a good reminder. Liked it.
