Sacred Heart IPA pays homage to the past while redefining the future. Blurring the lines between East Coast and West Coast IPA, it is both balanced and bitter, both tropical and satisfying. Double dry hopped with Citra and Centennial for a huge, juicy hop flavor that is reminiscent of Mango, Pineapple and Grapefruit, Sacred Heart will satisfy the most hardcore of hopheads while maintaining an approachability that even a new craft beer drinker can enjoy. A six-step mash lends a ridiculously complex malt backdrop to the main event: the hops. The glorious Tiger Flower that none of us can get enough of. With a clean and dry finish, Sacred Heart will leave you wanting to sip, just once more

UPDATED: APR 21, 2014 Sampled on tap fresh from the Conquest brewery in Columbia SC. Features a standard IPA pale amber appearance with maybe a little more reddish or burnt orange tint. Pleasant tropical hop aroma and even more pleasant tropical hoppy taste that managed to avoid excessive bitterness. Malty balance is well done. Very drinkable and the most enjoyable of the Conquest line Ive sampled. Worth trying if you can find it, look for it on tap in the Southeast US but also occasionally in 22 ouncers. A respectable quality micro-brew! ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Poured from big bottle. Aroma of sweet malt and ocean. Golden with big white head with lacing. Big sweet bread malt up front with floral and citrus hops. Just a touch of spice, pepper and pear. Balanced and easy to drink. No hop bomb but still a great brew.

Pours a clear golden hue with a one-finger white soapy head that leaves a nice foamy lacing in the glass until its empty. Aroma is slight but has citrus notes. Taste is slightly hoppy but not overdone. Has a bit of biscuit malt and citrus on the tongue with medium carbonation. Sacred Heart has an excellent clean finish. This is a really fine beer.
