Clear amber with a very nice white head that keeps a nice and last lacing. Aroma is sweet malt and hints of fruits and alcohol. Flavor is the same with a medium body and low carbonation, sweet alcohol finish.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Orange with a white head. The aroma and flavor are full of wheat and toffee notes, with the flavor being very dry. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

very faint beige head that disappears quickly and some lacing. brown-amber clear colour. sweet smell with gingerbread, nutmeg, comfit fruit, fight, almond and marzipan. slight sweet and spicy flavour, thin body. sweet bitter aftertaste. bottle 33cl / notes from backlog

3.6
bartlebier (3946) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAR 25, 2013
33cl Contreras family tasting. - Cultured Speciale belge, alive with hard working yeast. Caramel malts, good body, subservient earthy hops. Less easy to session than Palm or De Koninck, therefore with more to chew on and quite filling. One more convincing character concoction from Contreras.

2.8
thirdeye11 (6160) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 17, 2013
(33cl bottle best by 1-12-12 thanks to bu11zeye) clear amber, no real bubbles. Nose of caramel, raw grain, raisin, floral, and honey. Taste of light alcohol, honey, caramel, watery grain, unbalanced and hot in the finish, under carbonated as well.
