Bottled. Dark amber, brief head. Sweet and buttery with some lingonberries and almonds. Light bodied with soft, velvetty mouthfeel. Well balanced, and very drinkable for a Belgian ale. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2011
Bottle 25 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy golden with an off-white head. Sweet fruitiness in the nose, but the yeast prevails. Fairly light body, the yeastiness is the dominating feature of this beer. Subdued bitterness. A plain old school Belgian Ale. 030711 chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2005
Beer #21 at Croydon Draught Belgian Beer Festival. Hardly a blockbuster in Belgian terms. I don’t know whether my palate was becoming a bit jaded but for three beers in a row my notes said "not a lot going on". An amber coloured beers. Touches of sweetish caramel. Mellow and easy-going. Nothing really stands out, but its a decent session beer.

25cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Either this is supposed to be really toffeeish or this is a diacetyl bomb. Awful. Hate it and can’t drink it. TBone (18217) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 29, 2010
Bottled 330ml (Beer Planet, BB 06/2009)
Dark amber color, small white head. Aroma has toffee, dried dark fruits and balsamico. Medium-bodied. Flavor is similar to aroma: tart Oud Bruinish flavor with dark fruits, balsamico and malts. Also tasting like "Pommac" lemonade somehow. Palate is quite watery (no suprise, only 4.8 %). I wonder if fresh bottles are tart.
