Clear golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of citrus, malt and some notes of cardboard. Also some yeast. Drinkable but not that exciting. bartlebier (4216) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - APR 7, 2013
33cl bottles - Smooth and slightly spicy, with typical but not all too heavy Belgian yeastiness and a relieving low ABV for a Belgian ale. Creamy, sweetish yet dry, well-balanced and very drinkable - and yet oddly, the least remarkable - most traditional in the impressive Valeir range (modern atkes on typical Belgian taste profiles) by Contreras so far. rondphoto (4516) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Cloudy dirty blond with a smooth full head that has good retention, curtains of fine lace. Taste begins with a bracing caramel malt that has a nice carbonation edge; grows through the palate, warming and changing to a smooth, lingering butter rum finish. Complex, balanced, good-tasting Belgian Blond. High recommendation. lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 4, 2013
