11.2oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours amber with a lacy, light beige head. Aroma of spicy yeast, a lot of caramel and pale malts, and some floral hops. Flavor has a little too much pale malts, but it’s not terrible. Average texture. A decent beer, but not the best for Belgium. hetyu (115) - HUNGARY - AUG 30, 2012
Bottle - WoW! This beer should definitely rate higher!
Really nice orange/golden in colour with a big white had which leaves decent lacing. Taste begins with malt sweetness, followed with a thin yeasty sourness and some biscuit. Ends with good amount of hop, which is unusual for a Belgian ale but absolutely good that this one has it. Great beer! rulas3 (109) - Madrid, SPAIN - AUG 16, 2012
Apariencia: color naranja claro, turbio, poco carbónico, bastante poso, corona escasa y blanca.
An ok Belgian blond.
Visual: Cloudy orange with a high white head.
Aroma: Fruity (citrus/orange) and a bit flowery.
Tastes: Slightly spicy, fruity (citrus). Light to medium body

No head but rim over pale copperish coloured beer. Fresh pale & toasted malts, nice aroma enlived by fine aromahops. Also some grain and/or grass. Toasted, waffles gone too long, gardenherbs in the flavour. Well-carbonated, medium bodied. Absolutely like the nose. If the rest had been up to that standard...

More orange than blond, end totally flunky; good yellowish head, slowly retreating. Nose is lactic, roasted cookies, even some butterscotch... finishes citrussy. Quite bitter initial taste, not hoppy, but citrus-zeste like. Gets sweeter afterwards, without ever becoming really malty. In the end, there’s even a whiff of aroma-hops. Finish is very good & balanced. Medium bodied, slight creaminess; finish feels, as said under ’taste’, just right, as if enriched with freshly pressed fruit juice. It’s more than OK. When the "Mars Especial" came to supplant the old "Maartse", I was less than happy. This first fully new post-Willy C. beer, promesses, however.
Pours slightly orange with a thick white head and some suspended sediment. Aroma is a little Funky with lots of orange and banana. Tastes nice. Some vanilla and candy. Slightly spicy and citrus. Not bad at all. Pretty middle of the road Belgian blonde. Savvy1982 (1706) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 26, 2012
Bottle at home, from Glouglouburp, served in my Minneapolis Town Hall glass. Pours cloudy deep orange with a greenish cast. Thick white head that laces well. Nose is green apple, fresh bread, estery with some barnyard and hay. Very gentle in the nose. Flavours are round and creamy - almost brioche-like in texture, and the low hop bitterness is a pleasant surprise. Nice barnyardy fruit, cream, and hay, with a long, creamy, and lightly spicy finish. I could drink this all day! madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2012

Hazy amber beer. Soft palate. Aromatic malt. Very slightly spicy. Orange fruit. Hangs together well. Light and tasty.
11.2 oz bottle. Best before 12/10/13. Clear, golden body. Big, foamy off-white head. Decent lace. Pronounced, but soft carbonation. Dry texture. Nice light bitter taste, some savory. Decent hops and nice belgian fruity spicy taste, that leaves a good, considerable-length aftertaste. An enjoyable belgian blond, with fortunately more belgian characteristics than blond. turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - MAR 19, 2012
Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a moderate head. Floral hop aroma. Nice and fresh flavour; one of the most hoppy Belgians I’ve had in a while. Very pleasant if slightly over-carbonated beer.
