Tasted on 6/21/11 from a 330mL bottle. Pours pale orange with tons of chunky sediment and a pillowy white head that slowly recedes to thin, spotty lace. The nose is earthy and bitter hops, dusty, orange peel, and a hint of spicy Belgian yeast. The flavor is lightly sweet malt up front, dusty, a hint of spicy Belgian yeast, and lightly earthy and bitter hops. The body is medium with an oily texture, average carbonation, and a long dusty, earthy, and bitter finish.

Bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours bright hazy golden with fluffy white head. Some hops on the nose, some tropical fruit/pineapple on the taste as well as bready yeast. Mild summer fruits. Dry finish. Palate a little overcarbonated. Understated, but I really like it.

12oz bottle from IPB. At home.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with a small foamy white head. Not much lacing.
Aroma : Yeast and honey with light herbal and floral hops and light malt. Quite a lot of spices too.
Taste : Yeast, honey and spices with light fruits, light hops and light malt. Finish has lots of yeast and honey and is rather dry. Light floral hops. Very light bitterness and a little bit astringent too. Finish has lots of spices too.
Overall : Nothing really special. Rather light but not really refreshing. It seems to me that this could almost be a triple. Alcohol is a bit too low for that but it still feels rather heavy. Too much spices for me, too much honey too. To heavy to be drinkable and not complex enough to be a sipper. I dont get it.
